Welcome to the Salida Performing Arts Foundation

Salida Performing Arts Foundation, founded in 2009, supports the education and involvement of all students in the Salida, California area.

We are run by a group of dedicated volunteers that includes music teachers, parents and community supporters. We volunteer because we believe that students need arts in schools for a well-rounded education, yet budget cuts have reduced our students ability to attend art classes. Thus Salida Performing Arts Foundation was developed and continues to strive to support arts in schools.

We provide financial grants that support our State and National Performing Arts Standards. Our purpose is to develop and strengthen performing arts in Salida Area Public Schools by building community awareness and support.

One of our fundraisers involves a public concert showcasing area artists our "Piano Marathon"
